"Acting is the art of speaking in a loud clear voice and
the avoidance of bumping into the furniture."

Happily, my personal expression isn't limited to the drawing board. . .

As a founding member and the first president of
High Point Community Theatre in the 1970's and 80's,
creating a successful theatrical performance outlet
for area residents was a time-consuming yet
rewarding priority.

After a little hiatus from the stage (of about 20 years!)
I had a blast returning as Clairee in the
2005 HPCT production of Steel Magnolias.

Of course once I'm back, I'm baaaaack. . . so it was
time to hit the boards again in the March 2006
HPCT production of Cole Porter's marvelous musical
Anything Goes;  later in May I happily reprised the
role of Clairee when Greensboro's Community Theatre produced Steel Magnolias.

Check back periodically;  I'll let you know what's new
 on the theatrical agenda!

It's said that one should never follow children or animals on stage.
So I kept  precious pup Lola with me instead!  She played Cheeky to
my Evangeline Harcourt in
Anything Goes.
