"The details are not the details.
They make the design"

I like to be surrounded by the people and
things I love.  I also want to relax
in my surroundings.
I'm happiest when all those elements
mesh in a comfortable, lovely setting that
has style and charm.

MaryAnn's tip of the month
The old rule of thumb that pictures should be hung
on the wall at “eye-level”  can be a bit confusing.
If you’re talking about a hallway — that’s one eye-level.
If you’re discussing a living room,
a person’s seated eye-level is much lower.

I think wall art is placed too high in general.
Try lowering your pictures or paintings a bit.  Bring them
closer to you than to the ceiling!  Your room will
look more finished and comfortable.
I promise you’ll notice a pleasant difference!
